71 Interfering with political liberty
(1)
Any person who by violence, or by threats or intimidation of any kind, hinders or interferes with the free exercise of any political right by another person is guilty of an offence and is liable to imprisonment for 2 years.
(2)
If the offender is a public officer and commits the offence in abuse of his authority as such an officer he is liable to imprisonment for 3 years.
