12 Prosecutions on indictment
(1)
It is a function of the Director to bring and conduct prosecutions on indictment for offences.
(2)
The function mentioned in subsection (1) includes the bringing and conduct of committal proceedings or a preliminary hearing under the Local Court (Criminal Procedure) Act 1928 related to an offence.
