120 Contravention of DVO by defendant
A person commits an offence if:
a DVO is in force against the person; and
(b) the person engages in conduct that results in a contravention of the DVO.
Subsection (1) does not apply unless:
the person has been given a copy of the DVO; or
(b) for a DVO that has been varied under Part 2.6, Division 3, 4 or 5, Part 2.8 or 2.9 or confirmed with or without variation under Part 2.4, Division 3 or Part 2.7:
(i) the person has been given a copy of the DVO as varied or confirmed; or
(ii) the person's conduct also constitutes a contravention of the DVO last given to the person.
(3) An offence against subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability.
