82L Notice of hearing of application

(1)

As soon as practicable after the application is filed under section 82J(1), a registrar must give written notice of the date and place for the hearing of the application to:

(a)

the parties to the court DVO or each person who was a party to the expired court DVO; and

(b)

for a court DVO that was a police DVO confirmed by the Court under Part 2.4, Division 3 – the Commissioner.

(2)

If the Court extends a court DVO on its own initiative, a registrar must give written notice of extension to:

(a)

the parties to the court DVO or each person who was a party to the expired court DVO; and

(b)

for a court DVO that was a police DVO confirmed by the Court under Part 2.4, Division 3 – the Commissioner.
