Electoral Act 2004

A person commits an offence if:

(a) the person intentionally engages in conduct; and

(b) the conduct results in a contravention of section 213A, 213B, 213C or

213D; and

(c) the person is reckless in relation to that result.

Maximum penalty:

(a) for an individual – 200 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months or both; or

(b) for a body corporate – 1000 penalty units.
