Environment Protection Act 2019

The power in a prescribed Act to issue a prescribed direction includes a power to issue a prescribed direction in accordance with this Division and the provisions of that Act apply to a prescribed direction issued in accordance with this Division, including:

provisions relating to the issue of, compliance with and enforcement of compliance with the prescribed direction; and

provisions relating to any appeal or review relating to the issue of the prescribed direction.

A compliance notice issued in accordance with this Division to a related person of a high risk entity may impose:

any requirement that can be imposed by a compliance notice on the high risk entity; and

conditions that vary from the conditions imposed on any compliance notice issued to the high risk entity.
