17 Exemption of Accountable Officer
The Administrator may, by instrument in writing, direct that an
Accountable Officer need not comply with this Act or such provisions of or under this Act as are specified in the instrument, or need only to comply with a provision subject to such conditions as the
Administrator thinks fit and specifies in the instrument, and while the direction remains in force the Accountable Officer need not comply with the Act or the provision, or shall comply subject to those conditions, as the case may be.
The Treasurer shall table a copy of an instrument under subsection (1) in the Legislative Assembly within 6 sitting days of the Assembly after the instrument is made.
