20 Cancellation or suspension by court order

(1) This section applies if a court finds a licensee guilty of an offence relating to the licence or permit or an application relating to the licence or permit.

(2) In addition to imposing a penalty or making an order for forfeiture, the court may do any of the following:

(a)

for a licence – order the Director to:

(i)

cancel the licence or any quota allocated to it; or

(ii)

suspend the licence or quota for a period of up to 1 year;

(b)

for a permit – order the Director to:

(i)

cancel the permit; or

(ii)

suspend the permit for a period of up to 1 year.
