57 When Minister may accept surrender
(1)
The Minister may, by written notice, accept the surrender of a geothermal authority, or part of a geothermal authority area, only if satisfied the applicant has complied with the conditions of the geothermal authority for all of the geothermal authority area.
(2)
The Minister may require the applicant to take the actions the
Minister considers appropriate to ensure compliance with this section and may refuse to accept the surrender if the applicant does not comply with the requirement.
