Evidence and validity of geothermal authority interest

(1)

A geothermal authority interest is not capable of being created, transferred, assigned, devolved or dealt with in any way except by written instrument.

(2)

Registration under this Division of an instrument mentioned in subsection (1) does not give the geothermal authority interest evidenced by the instrument any validity or effect that it would not have had if this Division had not been enacted.
