Publication of general report made to Speaker
49 Publication of general report made to Speaker
This section applies in relation to a general report made to the
Speaker.
The Speaker must table a copy of the report in the Legislative
Assembly within 6 sitting days after the Speaker receives the report.
The ICAC may include in the report a recommendation that the report be made public immediately.
If the report contains a recommendation mentioned in subsection (3), the Speaker may make the report public whether or not the Legislative Assembly is in session and whether or not the report has been tabled.
If the report is made public under subsection (4) before it is tabled, the report attracts the same privileges and immunities as it would if it had been tabled.
