11 Term of office
(1)
A member holds office for the period, not exceeding 5 years, specified in the instrument of appointment and is eligible for
reappointment.
(2)
Despite subsection (1), unless a member sooner vacates the member's office or is removed from office under section 14, on the expiration of the term of office of the member the member continues to hold office until a successor is appointed.
