28 Making earmark on cattle or buffalo
(1)
The owner of a head of cattle or buffalo must not make a registered earmark on the animal unless it is already branded with a registered brand.
Fault element: Strict liability offence.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
(2)
The owner of a head of cattle or buffalo must not make an earmark longer than 8 cm on the animal.
Fault element: Strict liability offence.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
