National Environment Protection Council (Northern Territory) Act 1994

(1) The Council must, as soon as practicable after 30 September in each year, prepare a report of its operations during the year ended on the preceding 30 June.

(a) a copy of the report the Council receives under section 23 and copies of the reports for the year that it receives from the Commonwealth and other State and Territory Ministers under corresponding legislation; and

(b) the Council's overall assessment of the implementation and effectiveness of national environment protection measures having regard to all of the reports referred to in paragraph (a).

(3) A copy of the report is to be laid before the Legislative Assembly within 7 sitting days of the Assembly after the Council has formally adopted the report.
