105 Ombudsman to inform complainant and police officer of action taken
(1) This section applies only to the investigation of a police complaint.
(2) The
Ombudsman must, at the time and in the way the Ombudsman considers appropriate, inform the following persons of the outcome of the investigation:
(a) the complainant;
(b) if the police complaint is made about a particular police officer –
the officer.
(3) In addition, if the Ombudsman takes action under section 104(3), the
Ombudsman must inform the complainant accordingly.
(4) When giving information under this section, the Ombudsman may make the comments the Ombudsman considers appropriate.
