20 Obstruction of officers etc.

A person commits an offence if the person obstructs or hinders any of the following persons in the proper execution of his or her work or duty under these By-laws:

(a)

an authorised person;

(b)

an officer or employee of the council;

(c)

a contractor or sub-contractor to the council;

(d)

an employee of a contractor or sub-contractor to the council.

Penalty: $3 000 and, in addition, $100 for each day during which the offence continues after the first day on which the offence was committed.
