117T Application to Tribunal in relation to infrastructure facilities
A person permitted by section 24MD(6B)(d) of the Native Title Act to object to an act in section 24MD(6B)(b) of the Native Title Act may apply to the Tribunal for a hearing and recommendation in relation to the objection.
For section 24MD(6B)(f) of the Native Title Act:
(a)
the Tribunal is an independent body that may hear the application; and
(b)
the application is taken to be the request for a hearing by an independent body.
