30 Concurrent application
A concurrent application is an application that:
relates to land to which a planning scheme applies; and
comprises both an amendment proposal and a development proposal.
An amendment proposal is a proposal for an amendment of a planning scheme under this Part that relates to any of the following:
the establishment or change of a zone;
the establishment or change of a zone and a variation of the provisions of the planning scheme as they will apply to development in the zone after it is established or changed;
a variation of the provisions of the planning scheme not requiring the establishment or change of a zone.
A development proposal is a proposal, made in connection with an amendment proposal, for development that:
is required by this Act to be carried out under a development permit; and
is proposed to be carried out in accordance with a planning scheme as amended under this Part.
