Interference with or damage to things used by inspector

Current

(1) A person must not interfere with or damage a thing used by an inspector:

(a) for the exercise of a power or the performance of a function under this Act; or

(b)

for monitoring compliance with this Act.

Fault elements:

The person:

(a)

knows the thing is used for official purposes; and

(b)

intentionally interferes with or damages the thing.

Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units.

(2)

In this section:

inspector includes the Chief Inspector.
