208 Wagering on trial
(1)
A person commits an offence if:
(a)
the person is a licensee; and
(b)
the person conducts wagering; and
(c)
the wagering is on the outcome of a trial.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
(2)
A person commits an offence if:
(a)
the person conducts wagering; and
(b)
the wagering is on the outcome of a trial.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(3) An offence against subsection (1) or (2) is an offence of strict liability.
