27 Blood sample after drug screening or oral fluid analysis requirement
An authorised person may require a rail safety worker to provide a sample of the worker's blood in any of the following circumstances:
if an authorised person requires the worker to submit to a drug screening test or oral fluid analysis and the worker refuses to submit to, or fails to provide a sufficient sample for, the test;
if, as a result of a drug screening test or oral fluid analysis, the authorised person suspects on reasonable grounds that the worker might have a prohibited drug in his or her body;
if the authorised person did not require the worker to submit to a drug screening test or oral fluid analysis for a reason mentioned in section 24;
if the worker is involved in a prescribed notifiable occurrence.
