2 Commencement
(1)
Sections 1, 2 and 3 shall come into operation on the date on which the Administrator's assent to this Act is given.
(2)
Except as provided by subsection (1), this Act shall come into operation on a date, not being earlier than the date on which the
Convention enters into force in respect of Australia, to be fixed by the Administrator by notice in the Gazette.
