116 Penalties for offences may be remitted
The Administrator may:
(a)
remit in whole or in part any sum of money which is imposed under any Act as a penalty or forfeiture; and
(b)
order the discharge from the custody of the Commissioner of any person who is imprisoned for non-payment of any sum of money so imposed;
although the sum is in whole or in part payable to a party other than the Crown.
