80 Delegation
The Commissioner may not delegate:
(a)
the function of classifying information as criminal intelligence for this Act except to a Deputy Commissioner or Assistant
Commissioner; and
(b)
any other function or power of the Commissioner under this Act except to a senior police officer.
Note for section 80
Section 14 of the Police
Administration Act 1978 permits the Commissioner to delegate the
Commissioner's powers and functions in certain circumstances.
