45Y Payment where beneficiary incapable
(1)
If a person to whom a benefit under either Scheme is payable is, in the opinion of the Commissioner, incapable of administering the person's own affairs because of illness or imprisonment or for any other reason, the Commissioner may pay the benefit to the Public
Trustee.
(2)
A payment made under subsection (1) is taken to have been made to the person entitled to the benefit.
