44 Closed proceedings
(1)
Proceedings under this Act must not be heard in open court.
(2)
Anyone who is not one of the following persons must be excluded from the proceedings, unless the court orders otherwise:
(a)
a child who is the subject of the application;
(b)
a party to the proceedings;
(c)
a party to the surrogacy arrangement;
(d)
a legal practitioner representing a person referred to in paragraphs (a) to (c);
(e)
a witness giving evidence.
