50 Advertising commercial surrogacy arrangement

A person commits an offence if:

(a)

the person intentionally publishes information; and

(b)

the information:

(i)

purports to seek another person to enter into a commercial surrogacy arrangement; or

(ii)

states or implies that a person is willing to enter into a commercial surrogacy arrangement; and

(c)

the person is reckless in relation to the circumstance specified in paragraph (b).

Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months.
