33 Recognised law enforcement officers to have police powers
Subject to any limitations imposed by the conditions of his or her appointment under section 32, a recognised law enforcement officer has and may exercise all the powers and functions, immunities, liabilities and responsibilities that a police officer of the rank of constable under the Police Administration Act 1978 has and may exercise:
(a)
under this Act; and
(b) in any matter arising under this Act – under any law of the Territory (including the common law),
including functions conferred after the commencement of this section.
