20 Determination of application and grant or refusal of licence

(1)

In determining an application for a licence, the Director must consider the prescribed matters (if any) and the investigations and inquiries conducted regarding the application.

(2)

On completion of the Director consideration of the matters under subsection (1), the Director may grant the licence or refuse to grant the licence.

(3)

Subject to this Act, the Director may grant a licence subject to the conditions the Director considers appropriate.

(4)

If the Director refuses to grant the licence, the Director must notify the applicant in writing of its refusal.

(5)

The decision of the Director to grant or to refuse to grant a licence is final and may not be challenged or called into question, and is not subject to prohibition, mandamus or injunction, in any court or on any ground.
