63 Abandoned vehicles
An abandoned vehicle is a vehicle that is:
(a)
registered under the Motor Vehicles Act 1949 (or a corresponding Act of another jurisdiction) and is left:
(i)
for more than 24 hours at a place where it is prohibited by these
Regulations to be stopped or parked;
(ii)
for more than 24 hours in a parking area where the time a vehicle may remain parked is limited; or
(iii)
for more than 3 days in a parking area where the time a vehicle may remain parked is not limited; or
(b)
not registered under the Motor Vehicles Act 1949 (or a corresponding Act of another jurisdiction) and is left on a road, road-related area or public place.
