83 Hazard and warning lights

(1)

For the purposes of rule 221(f), the driver of a bus carrying children may use the vehicle’s hazard warning lights when stopping the bus to drop off or pick up children.

(2)

For the purposes of rule 222, if the bus is a school bus that is required to be fitted with warning lights, the driver must use the warning lights when stopping the bus to drop off or pick up children.
