157 Truck lanes
A driver (except the driver of a truck) must not drive in a truck lane, unless the driver is permitted to drive in the truck lane under rule 158.

2 Rule 158 provides additional exceptions applying to this rule, and also provides a defence to the prosecution of a driver for an offence against this rule.
A truck lane is a marked lane, or the part of a marked lane:
beginning at a truck lane sign; and
ending at an end truck lane sign.
