189 Double parking

(1)

A driver must not stop on a road if to do so would put any part of the vehicle that the driver is driving between a vehicle that is parked on the road and the centre of the road.

In the examples, the vehicle marked with an "X" is stopped in contravention of this rule.

A driver does not contravene this rule by parking on the side of the road, or in a median strip parking area, in accordance with rule
