27A Offence to make misleading statement

(1) A person must not make a misleading statement in a certificate given for this Act.

Fault elements:

The person:

(a)

intentionally makes the statement; and

(b)

knows the statement is misleading; and

(c)

knows the certificate is made for this Act.

Maximum penalty: 400 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years.

(2)

In this section:

misleading means misleading in a material particular or because of the omission of a material particular.
