5 References to proprietor or mortgagee
In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears, a reference to a proprietor or mortgagee shall be read as including:
(a)
in the case of a natural person – a reference to the heirs, executors, administrators or assigns of that person or to a person in whom the property of the first-mentioned person is vested, or by whom that property is controlled, under the Bankruptcy Act 1966 of the Commonwealth; or
(b)
in the case of a body corporate other than a corporation – a reference to its liquidators or assigns.
