11 Other valuations
(1)
Subject to this Act, the Valuer-General shall cause such valuations of or in relation to land in the Territory to be made:
(a)
as are required by the Territory, an authority of the Territory, the Minister, a rating authority or any other public authority or local government council; or
(b)
as are required by or under any law (other than this Act) in force in the Territory,
and may make such other valuations of or in relation to land in the
Territory as he thinks fit.
(2)
A valuation made in pursuance of this section may determine a value as at a date earlier than the date on which the valuation was made.
