29 Revocation of objectives

(1)

The Administrator may revoke an environment protection objective in accordance with a proposal submitted to him or her under section 28(5).

(2)

The Administrator must give notice of the revocation of an environment protection objective in the Gazette and in a newspaper circulating in the Territory.

(3)

A revocation of an environment protection objective takes effect:

(a)

on the date of notification in the Gazette under subsection (2); or

(b)

where a later date is provided for in the notice of revocation –

on the later date.
