7.12 Attendance by communication link
A person wishing to attend a directions conference, conciliation conference or prehearing conference by telephone must seek the leave of the Court not later than 24 hours before the time fixed for the conference.
A person wishing to attend a directions conference, conciliation conference or prehearing conference by closed-circuit television must seek the leave of the Court in sufficient time to allow for the reservation of the communication facilities to be used at the conference.
Leave under this rule may be granted informally by telephone and without notice to any other person.
A person who is granted leave to attend a conference by communication link must give the notice to other persons that the
Court orders.
The Court may direct that the person granted leave under this rule must reserve the communication facilities to be used at the conference and pay the costs in connection with their use.
