16 Requirements for lease entitlement notice

(1)

A lease entitlement notice for a lease entitlement must be published on the department’s website.

(2)

The lease entitlement notice must include all information about the lease entitlement reasonably able to be included in the notice.

(3)

Without limiting subsection (2), the notice must—

(a)

identify the trust area for the lease entitlement; and

(b)

include the identification number of the original application for the lease entitlement, if known; and

(c)

identify the holder of the lease entitlement; and

(d)

to the extent reasonably practicable, give a description of the lease entitlement land; and

(e)

state the date of the notice.

(4)

The chief executive may publish a lease entitlement notice for a lease entitlement only if the chief executive is satisfied about the existence of the lease entitlement.
