132 Notice and effect of forfeiture
(1)
If the lessor forfeits a home ownership lease, the lessor must, within 60 days after the Land Court makes its decision about forfeiture of the lease, give notice that the lease is forfeited to—
(a)
the lessee and any mortgagee of the lease; and
(b)
the registrar.
(2)
On receiving the notice, the registrar must record the forfeiture of the lease in the appropriate register.
(3)
The forfeiture of the lease takes effect on the day the registrar acts under subsection (2).
(4)
On forfeiture of the lease—
(a)
the lease ends; and
(b)
the lessee is divested of any interest in the lease; and
(c)
any person occupying the lease land must immediately vacate the land.
