176 Particular claimable land taken to be transferable land
This section applies to claimable land that is in the Cape York Peninsula Region, other than—
claimable land that is transferred land; or
claimable land for which the Land Tribunal has, under section 71, made a recommendation to the Minister before the commencement of this section.
On the commencement of this section—
the land is transferable land for the purposes of this Act; and
the land stops being claimable land; and
any proceeding before the Land Tribunal in relation to a claim for the land ends; and
part 5, and part 6, division 1, stop applying to the claim for the land.
Subsection (2) applies despite any other provision of this Act.
