Release of altered documents

In force

(1)

This section applies if—

(a)

the chief executive is required to give a particular document to a person in response to a request under division 2 or 3; and

(b)

the document contains information (restricted information) that the chief executive must not give the person because of another provision of this Act to which division 2 or 3 is subject.

(2)

The chief executive may give the document after altering it so the restricted information can not be read.
