35 Application for dispensation
(1)
The chief executive, or a person who has made an application to the chief executive under part 5, may apply to the Childrens Court for an order dispensing with the need for the consent of a stated parent of the child (the relevant parent) to the child’s adoption.
(2)
The application must state the grounds on which it is made.
