51 Effect of care agreement
(1)
While a care agreement for a child is in force, the chief executive (child safety) has custody of the child and may place the child in care under the Child Protection Act 1999, chapter 2, part 6, division 4.
(2)
The Child Protection Act 1999, sections 74, 90 and 162 apply as if a reference in the sections to a care agreement included a care agreement under this Act.
