Part 5—Application by person wishing to adopt stepchild

Division 2—How chief executive must deal with accepted application

98 Obtaining consents

(1)

The chief executive must take steps to obtain the consent of each parent.

(2)

If the chief executive obtains the consent of each parent, the chief executive must assess the applicant under part 6.
