5 Statement about supplementary appropriation for 2023–2024
The under-Treasurer must prepare a statement that includes the following for the financial year starting 1 July 2023—
amounts paid to the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service as unforeseen expenditure in the financial year or within the further 2 weeks;
amounts appropriated for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service under section 4(2);
amounts, if any, appropriated for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service under section 4(2) that have lapsed under section 4(3).
The under-Treasurer must, within 6 months after the end of the financial year, give the statement to the portfolio committee whose portfolio area includes the department, or part of the department, in which the Financial Accountability Act 2009 is administered.
