Audit of expenditure for ministerial offices

In force

(1)

The auditor-general must audit the full year report of expenditure of ministerial offices and prepare a report about it.

(2)

The auditor-general’s report must state whether—

(a)

the auditor-general has received all the information and explanations required by the auditor-general; and

(b)

the auditor-general considers the full year report is an accurate report, in the required form, of expenditure for ministerial offices for the year concerned.

(3)

As soon as reasonably practicable after the auditor-general prepares the report, the auditor-general must give the auditor-general’s report and the full year report to the appropriate Minister.
