116 Compliance with biosecurity emergency order
(1)
A person to whom a biosecurity emergency order applies must comply with the order.Maximum penalty—2,000 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment.
(2)
A person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if the person—
(a)
did not know, and ought not reasonably to have known, of the existence of the order; or
(b)
has a reasonable excuse for not complying with the order.
