Biosecurity Act 2014

This section applies to a pest control notice for an animal given under the amended Act, section 78, before the commencement by a pest operational board under the amended Act, section 213.

From the commencement—

the notice continues in effect as if this Act had not been enacted; and

the notice may be enforced by the invasive animal board or local government responsible for managing the animal as an invasive animal in the area to which the notice applies; and

the following provisions continue to apply as if this Act had not been enacted—

the amended Act, sections 79 and 80;

any other provision of the amended Act necessary for the provisions to have effect or to be enforced.
