156B Person taken to have applied for deregistration
(1)
This section applies in relation to a person who is a registered biosecurity entity for a biosecurity circumstance if—
(a)
the chief executive gives the person a notice under section 156A(2); and
(b)
the person advises the chief executive within the notice period under section 156A that the person has ceased to be a registrable biosecurity entity for the biosecurity circumstance.
(2)
The person is taken to have made an application under section 152(1) for the person’s deregistration as a registered biosecurity entity for the biosecurity circumstance.
